More Information:

Similar to shea and cocoa butters, mango butter is high in oleic and stearic acids and sometimes is used to replace cocoa butter in chocolate. It is an extremely versatile ingredient for skin or hair products. It has a soft, creamy texture that is easy to use and absorbs beautifully into the skin and melts upon touch. It has a subtle, almost non-existent aroma. Mango butter has a remarkable texture that is light and non-greasy but also creamy and highly moisturizing. It  does not clog pores or aggravate acne-prone skin. Chlorogenic acid, quercetin and caffeic acid are the major phenolic compounds present in mango butter, giving it antioxidative and antibacterial properties.
